Manchester City Football Club is pleased to announce that England women’s international and team captain Alex Greenwood has renewed her contract with the team until 2027.

Since joining the Manchester City Women’s Football Team from the French Lyon Women’s Football Team in the summer of 2020, she has played 152 times for our City Women’s Football Team in various competitions. She has helped the team win an English Women’s FA Cup and an English Women’s League Cup respectively, and has been selected into the Women’s Premier League Team of the Year three times.
